* 2. We are looking up at the sky The Sun is shining and radiating its beams, beautiful sunset in brilliant orange, white clouds drifting and changing forms in thousands of ways. We are looking at them without anything in our minds... Mum, Dad, Mother, Father, We may be children from our Mum's and Dad's point of view, We may be young from our Mother's and Father's point of view, We recognize our Mother's irritated look. We see our Father's almost always angry. We see our Mother's sigh on her face. We understand our Father's suffering. We can hear the sound of fierce pouring rain, which would soak us even if we had umbrellas in our hands. The sound of the strong wind whistling through the dark night sky. And the sound of thunder coming from the heavy grey clouds. We cannot avoid these sounds from entering our minds. Mum, Dad, Mother, Father, My ears may be small from your point of view. And my ears may be still growing from your point of view. Even if we are children, we hear Mum and Dad having arguments. Children are listening to the words of their Mother and Father hurting each other. You know what Mum? I don't have a father but that’s not the reason I brush you aside once in a while. I'm telling you Dad, I might be defiant at times but it's not because Mum isn't here. Even if we are children, we do hear our Mum complaining to someone over the phone. We children hear our Father whining to someone over the phone. We have had many sleepless nights. So lonely, Such heart rending sorrow, So very sad. We don't know why, but the tears well up... We don't know where to go nor where to stay...
